Physiatrist

Dr. Ghislain Rivet is a physiatrist with advanced training in neuromuscular medicine and electromyography. He earned his medical degree from the Université de Montréal in 2004 and completed his residency in physiatry at Albany Medical College in 2008. He then completed an additional year of residency in physiatry at the Université de Montréal in 2012.

From 2008 to 2011, Dr. Rivet served as Chief Physiatrist for U.S. Veterans Affairs hospitals in Indiana. Since 2012, he has been an active member of the rehabilitation department at the CISSS de la Montérégie-Ouest, where he provides care in electromyography and neuromuscular disorders. He has also served on the board of directors of the CISSSMO and is currently Vice-President of the medical staff (CMDP).

At Clinique DouleurMD, Dr. Rivet brings extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of patients with chronic pain, with a strong commitment to improving access to care for vulnerable populations. He is widely recognized for his expertise, motivation, and patient-centered approach.
