Dr. Georges Sioufi is a highly accomplished orthopedic surgeon with over 30 years of experience. A graduate of the Université de Montréal’s renowned Édouard-Samson orthopedics program, he has built a distinguished career grounded in technical excellence, education, and a human-centered approach to care.
Dr. Sioufi completed his medical degree and orthopedic residency at the Université de Montréal, followed by a double subspecialty in knee and hip reconstruction at Hôpital Sacré-Cœur and pelvic and acetabular surgery under Professor Émile Letournel at the Centre Médico-Chirurgical de la Porte de Choisy in Paris.
He is among the few surgeons in Quebec with comprehensive expertise in medial partial knee replacement (Oxford technique) and is a recognized leader in complex knee and hip reconstruction and revision surgery. His expertise also extends to arthroscopic knee surgery (ligament repair), complex trauma surgery, and pelvic and acetabular procedures.
In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. Sioufi is a dedicated clinical instructor at Santa Cabrini Hospital. Known for his patience, empathy, and unwavering commitment to his patients, he embodies a practice of orthopedics that prioritizes the whole person—not just the condition.
