Dr. Aurélie Houle is a physiatrist with advanced expertise in neurorehabilitation and a deep commitment to patient-centered care and medical education. She completed her Doctor of Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency at the Université de Montréal. She is currently completing a fellowship in neurorehabilitation for patients with brain injuries, including complex strokes, at the Pitié-Salpêtrière University Hospital in Paris.
Dr. Houle also obtained two additional university diplomas at Sorbonne Université: one in Spinal Pathology and another in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation. Her academic interests extend to teaching and medical education, and she is currently completing a Master’s degree in Health Sciences Education at the Université de Montréal.
With an interdisciplinary and empathetic approach, Dr. Houle offers comprehensive care for patients experiencing musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain. She emphasizes collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop optimal, goal-driven treatment plans that prioritize patient autonomy, function, and quality of life.
